urbanexperience: With fifteen years of multi-functional business experience, Roland is an invaluable and trusted asset for any client. In addition to providing buyer/tenant, owner/landlord brokerage and development services for a diverse clientele, Roland specializes in mixed-use, infill residential, urban retail, high density/high-rise, and transit developments. Prior to joining urbanspace, he was the Director of Business Development at KRDB, an Austin-based design/build firm.
Roland is actively involved in Austin’s real estate and business community as a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin – Leadership Development Council, Urban Land Institute, Downtown Austin Alliance – Economic Development Committee, International Council of Shopping Centers, Commercial Leasing Brokers Association, Central Texas Commercial Association of Realtors, Downtown Austin Neighborhood Association, Austin Independent Business Alliance, Congress for the New Urbanism. He also volunteers with Envision Central Texas, is a Director’s Circle Founding Member of the Blanton Museum of Art and Alumni Advisory Board Member of the McCombs MBA Alumni Network.
urbanextras: Roland’s extensive professional background includes new business development, investment banking, and sales management with both Fortune 500 corporations and small startup companies around the world. Highlights include Newgistics, the London-based Standard Chartered, Toronto-based Scotiabank, and Procter & Gamble. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Missouri and his MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
