urbanexperience: James Moody is from New Orleans, which explains his fondness for good music, good food, and good friends, and why he is a good fit for the rich sights, sounds and tastes of the Austin community. After living in more than 15 cities across the U.S. James settled in Austin where he bought a renovated home from urbanspace nestled in the heart of the Bouldin Creek neighborhood. Today he applies his skills and expertise to support urbanspace’s continued growth and to lead its 3-tiered approach to client services (real estate brokerage + project marketing + development services). He hopes to enhance the company’s presence in the marketplace with new office space, capabilities and downtown projects. He also aims to streamline operations and build an advanced support team for the client unlike any other in downtown.


urbanextras: James previously spent more than eight years in sales and marketing with Schering-Plough Corporation, where he gained significant director level experience in change leadership, organizational turnaround, and in building results-based cultures. He received his marketing degree from Louisiana Tech University.
