Downtown Development Digest: Two New Towers 11.12.2014

The Austin skyline has been expanding for years now, and shows no signs of stopping as two new towers look to be on our metaphorical horizon as well. As discussed in an Austin Buisiness Journal (ABJ) article earlier this week, what is being called “Shoal Creek Walk” and two more additions to Block 23 Green Water Treatment Plant will feature two new mixed-use towers that will primarily be office space, though these facts have yet to be officially confirmed.

Block 23 Green Water Treatment Plant is being designed by Gensler and is expected to be finished in November of 2016. This project will have just under 500,000 sq. ft. of office space, with 6,806 of retail. Other participants in
