Claire was raised in rural Maryland, where she first fell in love with art and design at a very young age. She brings her die-hard work ethic, along with her spirited design aesthetic to the Urbanspace Interiors team.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 2007, Claire moved to Tucson, Arizona to experience the beauty and warmth of the desert. This is where she was able to establish almost ten years of retail management, luxury furniture sales/management, and Interior Design project management skills. Claire has had the privilege of working under a few different Interior Designers over the years, and has enjoyed learning the ins and outs of the different views and approaches in the industry. Most notably, she’s learned that to every problem there is always a solution.
Claire moved to Austin, Texas in 2016 and has finally found what she believes is her forever home in this exciting and lively city, where there never seems to be a dull moment. In her free time, she enjoys singing, playing piano and ukulele, painting and drawing, cooking and baking, taking her puppy on adventures, and enjoying the live music and culinary offerings of Austin.
Claire is very grateful to have had the opportunity to travel abroad to Italy and France, and has traveled far and wide to many beautiful cities in the U.S., gathering much of her inspiration from her travels and the people she’s met along the way.
One of her favorite lines that Urbanspace offers is Neri and Hu for De La Espada.
