Maria Ybanez brings a global perspective to her real estate business. Growing up in Madrid, Spain and living in England, France and Italy has given Maria a diverse background of cultures. She is multi-lingual, speaking Spanish, French, English and Italian.

Maria’s career began in Spain with NH Hotels (400+ hotels in 30 countries) in the corporate communications department.  She continued her career in Colliers International, a global real estate and investment management company leading her to become a headhunter for a multinational company, Michael Page International.

Following a move to Mexico, Maria spent two years opening a new office for a large construction company in Monterrey. She honed her business development and management skills, building relationships and serving as liaison between clients, construction crews and developers. Maria was responsible for overseeing a range of projects including resorts and casinos, handling all aspects of the business including site updates, market studies and recruiting team.

An Austin resident since 2010, Maria has solidly established her expertise in the downtown Austin condo market. Her first project success was with the Seaholm residential development, working with numerous buyers and selling over $10 million in volume. Just as construction was nearing completion on Seaholm, The Independent condo tower was announced. As one of the top agents on the sales team, Maria contracted $52 million in sales for the project. She was selected to join the sales team for the newest condo High-rise in Downtown Austin; 44 East Ave, the new venture for Intracorp partnering with Michael HSU and Page Southerland. She was the top producer for the project contracting $68M+ in sales.

Maria was selected at the end of 2022 to be a part of the sales team for The Modern Austin Residences, a project by Urbanspace + Page and Nelsen Partners, standing at 56 stories and expected to be delivered in 2025.

Maria has been awarded #6 Top Realtors Award 2023 by Austin Business Journal and has been Urbanspace Top Producer 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Combining her love of Austin with her passion for real estate, Maria skillfully evaluates each individual client need. She takes pride in being part of Austin’s growing skyline and watching the beautiful architecture take shape.

Maria serves as a member of the Real Estate Council of Austin. She and her husband live in Central Austin with their two children and enjoy the unique character that Austin represents, the outdoors and the restaurant scene as an amateur cook herself.

They actively support The Boys & Girls Club of the Austin Area and Texas 4000 for Cancer. Maria Volunteers with HEB in special events feeding low income families.
