Melissa Christianson grew up in the real estate business along the Central Coast of California. Exposed to residential construction and real estate by her family, it soon became her passion and career path of choice. She began by starting a model home installation and staging company then began specializing in interior design and construction.

Melissa moved to Austin in 1997 and expanded her career into commercial and residential development and construction partnership with Legend Communities, which includes Rough Hollow and Tuscan Village residential communities in Lakeway. She helped facilitate the construction process for various commercial projects in the Austin area such as apartments, climatized self-storage facilities, Rough Hollow Yacht Club Marina & Villas, and its onsite waterfront restaurant while also running her own new home construction business building spec homes. With a strong appreciation of architecture, knowledge of construction, and an eye for finishes and detail, Melissa brings a wealth of experience to every project she touches.

As a proud resident of Downtown Austin, Melissa specializes in urban core residences and high-rise condominium sales. She earned the Graduate, REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, enabling her to provide the highest level of professional services to her clients. Melissa joined forces with Urbanspace to further benefit her clients with the backing of Austin’s most established urban core broker.

An outdoor enthusiast, Melissa thrives on all the perks that the Austin urban lifestyle offers, such as running the hike & bike trail around Lady Bird Lake, walking to local restaurant and music venues with friends and taking her miniature Yorkie puppy, Bella, for ice cream on 2nd street. During her time away she can also be found with her young adult sons, Grant and Pierce, snowboarding in Crested Butte Colorado, wake surfing on Lake Travis, and surfing the west coast waters of California.
